A year 2025 marked by a decline in activity in an unfavourable economic context
The year 2025 takes place in a context of a general slowdown in the business tourism sector, with a decrease across all indicators compared with 2024. Estimated economic impact amounts to €242.6 million, representing a decline of –23.9% compared with the previous year. The overall volume of activity also fell, with 3,217 events hosted in 2025 versus 3,341 in 2024, and 638,319 delegate days, down from 707,796 delegate days recorded in 2024. A sharp drop in attendance, particularly among national and regional audiences This decline in activity is accompanied by a significant decrease in the number of participants, particularly among: regional participants (–19.8%), national participants (–32.5%), and international participants (–10.8%). This trend reflects an uncertain economic and geopolitical climate, leading companies and event organisers to adjust their budgets, event formats and schedules.
