2025 is marked by a limited decline in activity given the current climate

Following a period of sustained growth between 2022 and 2024, business tourism activity is levelling off in 2025. Results show a limited decline given the context: locally, with few major conferences and trade fairs, whereas 2024 had been an exceptional year. And globally, the uncertain economic and geopolitical climate is prompting companies and organisers to adjust their budgets, formats and event schedules.

With 3,164 events hosted in 2025, compared with 3,327 in 2024, and 626,636 conference days, compared with 690,278 days recorded in 2024, the estimated economic impact stands at €238 million, down 9.2% on the previous year.
