A second half of 2025 marked by a downturn in activity

Continuing the trend observed in the first half of 2025, business tourism in Bordeaux experienced a slowdown in activity during the second half of 2025 compared with the second half of 2024. While the volume of activity remained stable between the first half of 2025, with 319,128 delegate days, and the second half of 2025, with 319,191 delegate days, the decline is nevertheless clear when compared with 2024 (400,607 delegate days in the second half).

This trend can be explained in particular by an uncertain economic and geopolitical climate, prompting companies and event organisers to exercise caution in their planning and in the budgets allocated to events.

However, companies remain committed to organising events, often opting for shorter, internal or experiential formats, and optimising resources in order to maximise the impact of the meetings they host.
