"Secrets of the Marquis" by cousin et compagnie
Experience a moment out of time in a magical place during a wine dinner.
You are not at the restaurant, you are our guests “à la française”.
That is the watchword (priority) of Cousin et Compagnie which welcomes you in the heart of old Bordeaux to experience an exceptional moment in the footsteps of the Marquis de Rolland, an emblematic figure of the parliamentary scene of eighteenth century Bordeaux.
Time will stop once you enter this usually out of sight parliamentary hotel.
Walk through the heavy gate and climb the grand stone masonry staircase reminiscent of the most famous Châteaux, go through the antechamber and exotic wood boudoir of the Marquis and access the reception room. There, Louis XV furniture engravings recall the construction of the Grand Theatre while the inlay panels and moldings of the eighteenth century and Second Empire paintings of masters and hangings evoke with taste the vineyards of Sauternes where the Marquis acquired a property. You will thus be transported through the centuries for an intimate and original oenological dinner. Unforgettable.
Suit your mood, surprise your taste buds, enrich your knowledge, exchange and taste exceptional wines, sipped with dishes prepared in four services, with local products, fresh and seasonal, by an inventive and generous private Chef, trained in the most famous restaurants in Paris and Saint Barthelemy. The enthusiastic members of the team of Cousin et Compagnie will give you a warm welcome!
Should you wish it, a pianist and a photographer can even join the evening, Caviar of Aquitaine and Foie Gras from the Landes can also be part of the menu.
You may want to offer that evening as a gift to your best customers, or to create successful team building or even to please your loved ones with a unique moment. Several options are available to you to tailor the evening to your wishes:
- Tasting of great Bordeaux wines with or without dinner
- Tasting Grands Crus Classés with or without dinner
- Tastings of Premiers Grands Crus Classés with or without dinner.
This service is available to 4 and up to 10 people.
