Located at the heart of the University of Bordeaux campus, SMART (Sport, Movement, Ambition, Research and Technology) stands out as a multidisciplinary center of excellence dedicated to human movement and sports performance. They provide a creative and distinctive environment designed to bring your most ambitious projects to life. Their mission is built on the synergy between several key pillars : innovation, research, education, events, and centralized expertise.
SMART offers a range of modern, modular spaces available for dry hire, suitable for hosting a wide variety of activities such as seminards, conferences, trade shows, conventions, and more. These flexible facilities are enhanced by the expertise of the students, who play a central role in delivering tailored sports activity programs and supporting your events through their audiovisual control room. Their setup includes 11 remotely operated cameras within a connected gymnasium equipped with a large central screen, enabling event filming, live streaming, and high-quality production.
The main space spans 1,400m2 and can accommodate up to 600 people, including 300 seated in the stands. With protective flooring solutions, the gymnasium can be transformed into a fully equipped venue suitable for larger-scale events.
Additionnal facilities further enrich this unique venue, including a strenght and conditioning room, a folf simulator, a climbing wall, a digital collaboration room, and an on-site catering service that operates daily and provides tailored solutions for events.
