En 2022, nous avons lancé « Bordeaux Bienvenue », un dispositif global qui garantit un accueil de qualité et durable des grands événements professionnels. Il assure un meilleur déroulement des événements professionnels, optimise l'expérience des participants et créé le lien avec les acteurs du territoire autour d’une stratégie événementielle engagée, plus respectueuse de l’environnement économique et social.
For events that meet the criteria, “Bordeaux Bienvenue” gives access to advantages defined according to the type of event. These include, for example, guaranteed availability and rates for accommodation via the hotel charter, free access to public transport, flags and signage in the city, welcome at train stations and airports, tourist advice at the conference venue, welcome by a political figure, etc.
“Bordeaux Bienvenue” is also a collective made up of all the institutional and professional players who make up Bordeaux's event reception chain, and who work together to offer participants a top-quality welcome.
In 2022, 7 major congresses attended by a total of nearly 7,500 people benefited from the city's piazzas bearing the effigy of their event, and 25,000 delegates had access to free transport passes.
