Located in the heart of the Arcachon Bay, the Dubourdieu® shipyard has been building custom, one-of-a-kind wooden boats for over 200 years, combining authenticity, tradition, and excellence. This exceptional craftsmanship, passed down for more than two centuries, is now recognized by the Origine France Garantie® certification and the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant® label true distinctions honoring French artisanal excellence.

For the past 15 years, Dubourdieu® has also developed a high-end boat charter activity featuring vessels built by the shipyard, catering to both private individuals and corporate clients. Its flagship model, the Picnic Sport®, can accommodate up to 15 guests and offers the perfect way to explore the Bay in absolute comfort through a fully tailored experience.

From breakfast to picnic lunches, from oyster tastings to exceptional dinners, every detail is designed to fulfill each guest’s wishes. On board, the art of hospitality is paramount: elegantly set tables with fine linens, Bernardaud® porcelain tableware, Riedel® crystal glassware, personalized menus, or even a private chef on request.

Available year-round, the fleet includes around fifteen customized boats equipped with heating and can host up to 300 guests in total. It provides the ideal setting for birthdays, weddings, seminars, or private events — even on beautiful winter days.
