Museum of Decorative Arts & Design
In the heart of Bordeaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the MADD is housed in a mansion and a former prison, two buildings listed as historic monuments, now connected by a glass and steel pavilion. Dedicated to promoting decorative arts, crafts, expertise and design in all its forms, the museum has a vast collection covering several centuries of creativity.
For your summer events, the main courtyard offers an exceptional setting for your festive, cultural or team-building evenings for up to 350 people.
The MADD also has a fully equipped conference room that can accommodate up to 70 people. This unique space is adjacent to the pavilion, which overlooks an intimate courtyard with plants that can accommodate all your event formats.
Within the former prison, which has retained its authenticity, two large interior courtyards and the old vaulted cells can be adapted to suit your needs for up to 400 people.
